Our available properties are advertised on ‘Rightmove’, on our Facebook page and in our office window. Alternatively, you may phone our office and we will advise you if we have any properties which suit your requirements.
All the properties we manage comply with current safety regulations with regard to electrical safety, gas safety, legionella and fire detection.
When you have found a property you like the first step is to arrange an appointment to view it. If the property is suitable for you and you wish to proceed with an application you will complete an application form and let us have photographic proof of identity (passport or driving licence), proof of address (utility bill or bank statement) and proof of your income. If you have rented before then we will ask your previous landlord or agent for a reference. We will also carry out a credit check.
When your application has been approved you will be asked to pay the tenancy deposit. This is usually equivalent to one month’s rent. Should you not proceed with the tenancy for any reason then the deposit will be returned to you. If you do proceed then the deposit will be lodged with Safe Deposits Scotland for the duration of the tenancy.
An entry date will be agreed and the first month’s rent should be paid on or before the entry date. An appointment will be made for you to come to our office to sign the Tenancy Agreement and collect keys. You will be supplied with a copy of the Tenancy Agreement prior to the entry date so that you have time to read it and for us to answer any questions you might have.
If we do not have any properties which suit your requirements you may put your name on our waiting list and we will advise you if anything suitable becomes available.
